Interstellar Returning to IMAX Theaters in December
According to a recent Collider article. The IMAX favourite will return to theatres this December.
Interstellar was released 10 years ago on November 7, 2014. The 2-hour and 49 minute IMAX experience astounded audiences and performed strong in its opening weekend, earning $47.5 million at the domestic box office. Over the years, Interstellar continued to thrive, pulling in new viewers and day-one fans alike with at least 38 re-releases globally since 2017.
To mark the film’s theatrical tenure, there is said to be an IMAX Exclusive Limited Engagement on December 6, 2024, with tickets going on sale on November 7, 2024.
At the moment, it looks like important details regarding showtimes and locations have not been officially announced. However, fans can enjoy Christopher Nolan’s 2014 blockbuster, at home, for rent or purchase on services such as The Cineplex store, Amazon Prime Video, Paramount+, and Apple TV.
For collectors and Blu-Ray enthusiasts, a special 10th anniversary Collector's Edition Blu-Ray set is available for pre-order in the US. The multi-disk set includes INTERSTELLAR on 4K Ultra-HD and Blu-Ray; Special Features; reproductions of five costume patches; five INTERSTELLAR posters, and a never-before-seen storyboard sequence from the director’s archives.
